We enjoyed Pedal Haus brewery previously we decided before departing Phoenix we needed to return for another meal. It was much colder this day so the outside brasseries were all alight.
This time we shared fish and chips.
Ross enjoyed a new beer called a Special Limited Release, Boubon barrel aged quad. It was 10.6% so only comes in a smaller glass. Ross said it was "Really worth a try but not for a session."
We were introduced to this beer by Ian who is the head brewer at the Pedal Haus. He was a delightful young man who really made our day. He freely shared with us the how and why of the beers he brews and provided several samplers to try. The young lady with him was our server, Katlin who is at College studying nursing. She told us she has wanted to be a nurse since she was 4 years of age.
On our walk back to the light rail we took the opportunity to walk around a bit. Below is a sign that says it all.
We stopped off for a drink at the Cafe Boa where we are booked to go to dinner on New Years day.
In the Bar area they have a very old but very well maintained slicer.
Ross was so excited that he spent some time chatting with the slicer.
The hill had the Jewish Candles burning.
The streets were alight with many bright lights which gives a faryitale feel to the streets.
The sunset was just visible while we waited for our train ride home.
A great city to visit.
