Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival - OKC

Today we enjoyed the opportunity to spend sometime at the Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival.   It is an annual event which goes over 3 days and features a diverse array of events. Participants in the Red Earth dance competition represent the elite of Native American dance.

As well as enjoying the dancers there was a wide arrange of contemporary and traditional paintings, bead work, basketry, jewelry, pottery, sculptures, graphics, and culture attire are for sale.  There were musical performances, authentic foods and activities for children.  A most interesting experience all round.
