Cody - Wyoming

Cody is a city in Park County, Wyoming, USA.   It is named after William Frederick Cody, primarily known as Buffalo Bill, from his part in the creation of the original town.

For Wayne they even have a Boot Shop named after you.

There are various styles of Cowboy Boots for women as well as men.

As you would have seen in the Rapid City blog there are statues of Presidents.  Well, in Cody there are various art forms of the Buffalo.

 
Then there is Buffalo Bill's Irma Hotel which is situated on the Main Street of Cody.  Here one steps back in time. The Irma Hotel – a place that Buffalo Bill Cody called "a gem" just outside of Yellowstone National Park. He built the hotel in 1902 and named it for his daughter, Irma. Today, folks can stay in historic rooms that housed some of the most famous personalities the world ever has known, including Frederic Remington, Annie Oakley and Calamity Jane. There is also the opportunity to stay in Buffalo Bill's private suite. There are a host of other historic or non-historic rooms, all with up-to-date amenities and air conditioning.

The colors are very patriotic.

Ross really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food.

Cody is about 50 miles from Yellow Stone National Park and a great place to stay.  We really enjoyed our stay here.
