From Valentine to Rapid City is some 250 miles and after traveling through vast areas of wide open spaces we were delighted to see the Badlands. The mountains are fantastic.
We located our RV Park.
Were able to show our Texas sized sign. Then it was time to visit downtown.
They are very civilized here as you can post your fine.
Every corner of the downtown has a bronzed figure. Here is George Washington.
Here is Ronald Reagan.
The food isn't bad either. This is a seafood dish including mussels, prawns, salmon and scallops. Ross really enjoyed this.
The City is surrounded by lush forest.
Tomorrow we are off to Yellow Stone.
