Rapid City - South Dakota

Rapid City is known as the gateway to the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park and many more historical sites.  It is also known as the 'City of the Presidents' where one can see all the Presidents dating back to George Washington.  To see more have a look at

01. George Washington

This is one of the first cabins built in Rapid City around the 1700's.

There are buildings downtown of a bygone era.

On Sundays the children enjoy a good splash in the sun in the City Square.

The Dinosaur Park provides the history of their presence in this area.

There are a number of very nice homes scattered throughout the City.

You can even get a lemonade from Johnny on a Sunday afternoon.

Then there is the most delicious food.

Rapid City is a great place to visit.

Best wishes,

Beverley and Ross
