The Cathedral of St John the Baptist , Savannah, GA is a Roman Catholic Cathedral situated on Lafayette Square and 222 East Harris Street. It is the mother church of the Dioceses of Savannah. It was dedicated 30 April, 1876 and is styled in French Gothic. It is amazing and very beautiful.
Very grand ceilings.
Beautiful stained glass windows.
Huge church with lots of pews.
Amazing paintings.
Very elaborate Altar.
Elegant organ.
It is truly a magnificent Cathedral and we spent time after lighting a candle remembering those we have lost and those who have ongoing health issues, family and friends and peace in this world.
Cheers,
Beverley and Ross
