Lewisporte, NFLD

On our travels in Newfoundland we visited the mid north coast and on the way back to Gander we travelled to Lewisporte and about 8 km before reaching the town we came across "Chelsea's" where fresh lobster, crab and freshly caught cod for the best fish and chips were available. We could not resist the temptation and had a crab sandwich followed by the cod - an amazing and thoroughly enjoyable culinary experience. The associated shed next door sold salted cod, fresh fish fillets and live lobster.

It would have been just great with an ice cold beer but had to settle for a coke.



While enjoying the crab sandwich we were delighted to be surrounded by beautiful scenery.
