St Thomas (Part 2)

We continued our trip down from the top of the Island and on the way back to the town of Charlotte Amalie we stopped at this scenic lookout.

The view was not a disappointment.

It was rather windy as evidenced by Beverley's windswept hair.

We ate at several restaurants around the town and the Green House was a great spot to eat.

 On Friday's it's lobster day.

The Lobster did not disappoint.

The view from the restaurant added to the atmosphere of the meal.

100 years ago next year the The US Virgin Islands was bought by the USA from Denmark to protect themselves from German invasion during WW1.  So many of the buildings are Danish in design.  Next year there is a huge celebration with lots of visitors from Denmark planning to join in this big event.

Best Beverley and Ross
