Nashville Pt1

Hello again and we left Fredericton on 19 July on our road trip to Texas.  before arriving in Nashville the other stops we made were Bangor Maine, Hartford Ct, Harrisburg PA, and Charleston WB.  We stayed downtown in Nashville and across from our hotel was what had been a railway station now houses a very grand hotel.

We  took a city tour and the city hosts some interesting architecture.

We also visited the iconic Ryman Auditorium which has been the starting point for many well known country and western singers. http://www.ryman.com/

In the early days of this institution Minnie Pearl was a favourite and she is remembered in  this statue.

The stage below has had  many well known artists perform on it and a walk around the building takes a step back into the rich history of this facinating place.

More to follow on this interesting city.

Best wishes,
R&B
