Jack and Helen are dear friends who own and run several great Asian Resturants in Australia and in 2005 we had the opportunity to spend 10 great days in China with Jack. At that time he did not know Helen and when they were married we were honoured to attend their wedding. Sunday evening is the only time they have time off from their busy work and on the last Sunday before departing to the USA they came over home and made dumplings and other goodies for us for dinner.
Here Helen is needing the dumpling pastry.
This provided an opportunity for Adrian and Cameron to try their hand at dumpling making. They did a very good job at it.
As you can see this is very serious business.
Finally the dumplings were ready to be boiled.
The table was now ready for us to eat. As well as the delicious dumplings there was duck dish, and a couple of different cold Asian salads accompanied by good conversation and wine.
Here we are about to tuck in.
Our contribution was a pavlova.
It was a fanastic evening and thank you Jack and Helen for spoiling us with such delicious food.
The next day, 10 Dec 2018 we departed to the USA where we will be for the next 12 months enjoying the opportunity to continue our R'ving.
