This post starts off with our visit to Norman Island, the most southwest island of the British Virgin Islands. This beautiful spot is locally known as "Treasure Island" because it is the island that inspired the famous book of the same name by RLS, it also has a documented history of Pirate usage for both hiding from opposition and hiding treasure in caves. (some of which has been found).
"Pirates" restaurant is located right on the beach and was our chance to take our skipper and our chef out for dinner.
The sunset view back out to our boat needs no superlatives - it totally speaks for itself.

And these are a couple of the caves. You can snorkel inside.
Just off Norman Island is this amazing rock formation call The Indians. It was named because apparently from a distance they were thought to resemble a North American Indian head dress. The Indians are the second most popular dive and snorkel sit in the entire British Virgin Islands.
Another spot we visited to refuel was Sopers Hole wharf and Marina located in West End on the main island of Tortola.
We finished our Caribbean adventure with a 3 day stay in Road Town, Tortola before heading home.
We would like to thank our crew Tai and Ian for a great trip and of course our great friends Susan and Wayne for being the best traveling companions anyone could have.
Now we are preparing for a 2 month trip in our motorhome and our next post should be from somewhere on the lower Mississippi River as we make our way all the way north to catch up with Scott in Wisconsin then west to North Dakota.
