After our visit to the museum it was time for lunch so after asking some locals we ended up at the Trailways Bar and Grill. It was typical of many Texas eating places.
The walls were covered with dollar notes where folks have written on.
Of course everything goes better with a Texas sized margaretta.
There was a nice outside area however, the winds were so strong we would have been blown away.
There is now a resurgence of the oil industry and now the USA is self sufficient with oil and gas and is now exporting to other countries. Hence there is a lot of heavy vehicular traffic on the highway. This makes for a stressful drive.
Scattered along the highway there are numbers of oil refinning works.
Our next stop is Van Horne.
Cheers,
Ross and Beverley
