On our second day in St Johns we took the opportunity to do a conducted tour of the city and its surrounds. However, the day before when doing our walk around we came accross this bridal shop which was displaying a replica of the wedding dress Katherine wore for her marriage to William. So for all of you girls who want a closer look at the dress you now have the opportunity to do so.
The tour was a great way to see the city which has pretty areas such as Signal Hill and Petty Harbour where we enjoyed the lunch of freshly caught and cooked cod.
Government House is a beautifully maintained old building with a rich history.
We also got to travel to Cape Spear which is the most easten point in North America.
St Johns has plenty to offer the traveller. We had a great time in Newfoundland and are now about to start out next adventure - an 8 day road trip from Fredericton to San Antonio, Texas.
